I’d suggest that, if you do the polls March Madness style, you do at least some seeding of the nominations. It’s a little more work, but it ensures that women who received multiple mentions here or seem particularly likely to do “well” aren’t paired against each other in the earliest rounds.

For me, the names that came to mind were Jenny McCarthy and Nancy Grace.

I really want to stay away from politics, but I must point out that Michelle Malkin hasn’t a brain in her head, and is just generally nasty.
All of the votes for the first ladies are fairly ridiculous. Even Nancy Reagan, who was a bit of a loon and wound up bolstering some terrible public policy, was basically a nice old lady who was trying to do some good.

You know, I was going to mention my ex mother-in-law in this thread, but even the process of typing out why she was awful started to make me unhappy.

Maybe many of us with terrible in-laws or other relatives just don’t want to put themselves through talking about them.

“Least favorite human being” is the category to which you seek nominations.

And somehow Pol Pot; Heinrich Himmler and Adolf Eichmann; Josef Stalin; Lawrence Brewer, John King, and Shawn Berry (dragging death of James Byrd); Dean Corll; Idi Amin; Tomás de Torquemada; or Rasputin never came to mind?

But Sarah Palin did? Palin is not a saint, perhaps, but her worst crime is probably being dumber than a box of dirt. Ann Coulter is full of hate, but so far as I know, she did not ever inflict strappado on another human being. Lindsay Lohan? She’s a pitiable addict who has a gift for acting and an inability to control her addictions that means she’s thrown away the kind of career that others would kill for – but Lohan hasn’t killed anyone, not even herself (yet).

Yes, seriously - <points at thread title> I seem to read "Least favorite female human being> and last I checked, Torqumada, Pol Pot and Idi Amin were males and not females … so they really do not count.
