Candy recipe: Does anyone know a recipe to replicate Nips Caramel?

My GF’s favorite candy is Nips Caramel (see below). She does not like anything else that is similar (e.g. Wurthers caramel). Unfortunately, it seems Nips are not made any more.

So, I would get loads of boyfriend points if I could replicate that candy for her. I have made caramel before and that is pretty easy but these are a bit different. Some milk in them (I think) and they are a hard candy and not chewable caramel.

I know this is a bit of a reach but if anyone has a recipe that replicates these things that’d be great!

Well, this a sad development. The caramel apple ones were a guilty pleasure of mine and I don’t have that many vices left.

The only suggestion I have is to order some See’s Candies Little Pops for her. Their butterscotch Little Pops are smaller but very, very close to the Nips. The other flavors are good as well: vanilla and latte being close seconds to the butterscotch.
