I live about 20 minutes from the store at Hershey’s Chocolate World, so if there’s something Uncle Milton makes that you love and can’t get I can try to pick it up for you.

I’d love some sweet real licorice (not that anise-flavored stuff) and some King David Crunch(?)-you know, those blocks of sesame seeds trapped in honey like dinosaurs in amber.

I’m also jonesing for good pralines and coffee with chicory.

Here’s a question: Used to be you could get regular-sized bars of Nestlé’s Milk Chocolate. Not Nestlé’s Crunch, not any other kind, just plain old milk chocolate bars, in the normal 50-cent candy bar size. Then one day I went to the store and they didn’t have them anymore! I want my plain Nestlé bars, dangit! Can anybody else get them, or have they completely stopped putting them out?

essvee, mostly I got milk chocolate with a lot of caramel mixed in. You can order from See’s online, which is what I did.

Zappo, I used to live near Harrisburg, and became addicted to the wide variety of snack foods available. Were it not for this pesky thing called a “job”, I’d consider going back. [sub]Not that Airman Doors would mind[/sub]

I still can’t find snack foods unique to Houston, but I’m looking.

I think that Humpty Dumpty is from Maine. I’m in Vermont, however. We have quite a bit of odd snackfoods and candy around. The selection varies quite a bit from store to store, too.
It’s been a while since I’ve had a sky bar, but I think that the fillings are chocolate paste, caramel, vanilla paste and peanut butter-like substance.
Yep, they still make chocolate neccos. I think that they sell tubes (still in the old wax-paper packages) of just the chocolate.

Apparently it’s a big thing in the Hispanic community to salt your beer. They have little things of salt and lime at the cashier stands of the local Quik-e-marts too.

I read in the m&ms thread that some versions of M&Ms aren’t available in some foreign countries. So, I wrote down some of the variations of the candy we have here, that I could send out of the country in return for some of your country’s snacks. These are:
