I was also taken aback by so much focus being on Zombie Boy being naked. There was no one around but the two cats and me (And they have no interest in the Zombie Apocalypse so long as said zombies don’t try to eat their cat food) to holler out, “They think THAT’S the weird part of this story? Was it this cop’s first day on the job?”. :dubious:
I’ve worked in our local state hospital for well over two decades and I can tell you that hanging out (so to speak) in public while nekkid is a very common way that people come to the kind of official attention that leads them to come spend a little time with us. I was stunned to see cops think that was the part of the story that stood out (again, so to speak).
As a side note, many mental illnesses seem to inspire people to strip down and run around naked. I myself have seen more unattractive nekkid folks than the average hooker.
And to whoever mentioned it upthread (Yeah, I’m too lazy to look it up), it’s not unusual for a mentally ill person to bite when fighting. It is VERY unusual to have one try to get in a meal while they’re at it. I’ve been bitten a lot but, happily, they were just angry, not hungry.:dubious:
