You guys are forgetting Scarlett Witch, she’s by far the strongest on either group.
Not in the MCU. At least not yet. Her power set is still undefined, but I seriously doubt they will give her the reality-altering powers she’s had in the comics.
Until Infinity Wars. Then all bets are off.
Well she was beating the crap out of Vision in the trailer.
If you watch the final scene of Ultron, Vision and Scarlet Witch have about the same robotic kill rate. Neither one is really an Earth threatening force.

Per your link, it is something inserted to intentionally please the audience. Sure, it applies to sexy shots, but also to the slowed-down leaping shot at the beginning of Ultron, and your requisite types of battle scenes.

From things that have been said, I believe there will be a supervillian threat besides the civil war storyline. There’s a Baron Zemo character in the movie. And there have been hints that the superheroes who have been divided by the civil war issue will reunite late in the film to fight together.
Here’s another speculation:Chris Evans’ contract expires with this movie. Sebastian Stan, on the other hand, is still committed to several more movies. So I’m guessing part of the climax of Civil War will be Steve Rogers either being killed (as happened in the comic book series) or retiring. Bucky will then take up the Captain America identity.

I hope they save Giant-Man for Ant-Man 2. They’re already throwing a lot in this movie.
Which means he should stand trial for those things. And if he won’t come in, then the Govt can hunt him down, like with any other criminal.
If this movie doesn’t have an unsatisfying “unite against the REAL danger after we realize the whole thing was just a bad guy’s plot” ending, I’ll eat my shorts. This movie is going to suck for the same reason the batman/superman movie is going to suck.
I think (I hope, based on that scene with her and Vision) we see what Scarlet Witch can really do.
If they are following the comics, there shouldn’t.
Not that the event in the comics wasn’t seriously misguided anyway, of course.
Everything else about the movie looks great, but I really don’t like new Spidey’s costume. It looks plastic.
Yeah, I wonder if that will be fixed in post-production. It looks not much better than the costume from the '70s tv show. And his spider eyes actually narrowing - is that canon, or something? Like lazy artists drew his eyes like they had lids to aid in showing emotion and now we’ll see it?
Happened a lot in the 90’s, starting with MacFarlane, and nowadays you get the occasional Humberto Ramos- like artist doing it too, if a lot less. It’s a way of giving some expression to Spidey’s face.
CGI facial expressions on masks got a lot of coverage when Deadpool got huge a few weeks ago. A new attempt to keep the masks on while conveying emotions…
