No, it is not as bad as the difference between “Black” and “nigger”, that word has a particular history, but maybe as bad as the difference between describing a person as “Jewish” and calling someone “Jew-boy”. And perhaps about the same as the difference between describing someone as “gay” or calling them a “goddam fag”. And saying things that are ignorant but that are still, unfortunately, beliefs that are honestly held by nearly half of this country, is not quite the same thing as using those sorts of phrases.
BrightNShiny’s justifiable anger at CM’s telling him to keep his being gay out of sight of “the children” deserved expressing. But it deserved to be expressed in a way that made CM’s idiocy the focus. By attaching to a GQ thread about why some do not gain weight when they overeat, and burying it in a barrage of insulting fat words, CM’s idiocy and jerkiness had to compete with the BNS’s own apparent asshattedness.

If you are homosexual, please read slowly… You are mentally ill. You need psychological help. Being a homosexual means dying at a younger age from AIDS which is caused and spread by homosexuals. Yes, there is heterosexaul AIDS transmission, especially in Africa, but this is because that husbands and males have gay sex “on the down low” and spread it to their partners. It seems funny that now, we never hear about AIDS. The homosexuals have effectively shut the discourse down. If people knew more about AIDS now in 2010 and know how it is spread, there would not be this acceptability towards non natural sexual behavior. The only time when we hear about AIDS is when a heterosexual has it. Well, the last hetero- who has AIDS was Magic Johnson who had the sexual morals of a dog.

None of us particularly care if you want to receive anal sex or not CM, or if you are happier being an obese heterosexual than a thin gay man. What we do care about is that two people who love each other be able to love each other as openly whether they be gay or straight. On the gay issue you seem to be lumping gay people as a class into some stockyard pen of deliberate perversity. I’d wager that numerically there are far more heterosexual coprophiles than gay ones.
Re the question of how innate homosexuality is it’s not really controversial at this point that propensity to be gay or not is not so much purely inborn “genetic” as it is influenced by the pre-natal hormonal environment of the fetus. It’s a confluence of triggers. So, yes people really are “born” with a strong propensity to be gay or not. This is where the current science seems to be pointing. If you have different information that it’s purely a non-innate choice please present it.
I believe we all know that teh ghey is contagious and genetic. So, clearly I’m just in a phase where I’m denying the homo I caught from my mother’s milk. In the mean time, though, can I get me one of those sparkly agendas?
