Whenever a cartoon character wears a tux, the white part (that would be a shirt in real life) always flips up and smacks the wearer in the face. What is this suppose to be?
I think it’s supposed to be a dickey.
ETA: The wiki has a section on the “flapping dickey,” which seems to be what you’re talking about.
Huh, I never knew there was such a thing! I thought a “dickey” refered to a mini collar women wear like a fake turle neck, or such. “Dickey”…what a word! :rolleyes:
I trust this does not apply to cartoon penguins.
