Like at work where your boss says you cannot send out any emails without running them by him first. Dio submits posts, they go to a Moderator who has to approve them before they appear. Obviously, that’s not possible, but as cards says, a man can dream, right?
There’s a book that’s just come out, called Zero Degrees of Empathy (in the UK; in the US it’s The Science of Evil for some reason) by Simon Baron Cohen. I’m not for a minute suggesting that **Dio **is evil, but he does seem to have an extraordinary lack of empathy for the feelings of those around him. Either that, or he does know what he’s doing - winding people up purposely - which is trolling.

Sure, but could you at least follow along? “Everyone just put him on ignore” has been brought up multiple times, and refuted just as many times. In a thread about a guy that repeats things over and over, it’s not cool to repeat things over and over.
A person doesn’t have to be religious to believe in warlocks. The warlocks however DO have to have a strong connection to the supernatural that may as well be classified as “religion.”
BTW, I think half of you need more chocolate and another half need less caffeine. The remaining 30%, I can’t suggest anything.
And herein lies the problem. We’re all here discussing what an ass Dio is and Lavender brings up an old thread, no explanation, no “this is WHY I think he’s a jerk” just that he’s a jerk because of this thread, it adds nothing to this discussion and really is just fuel on this fire. If you had a problem with Dio about something in that thread, there’s no reason to drag it over here
And at the heart of what we call the Dio Show is Buckety (not you specifically, just the action you took here)…you took his bait, you let him get you riled up. Just let it go, this is what he does…but the least you could do is take it back to the original thread, in fact I’ll bet if you read the original thread (I haven’t) what you said has been said a hundred times and Dio just kept saying “no she’s not”…am I right?
And again I’ll say it. Just ignore him. Let him quote you, let him take your words and twist them out of context, let him lie about what he’s said in the past or just plain make things up. If you don’t respond he’ll go find a different thread. And on top of it, you can keep having your own conversation with everyone else.
For the record, I still think he’s being an ass, I still think mod action needs to be taken against him. I don’t think we’re the problem. As I mentioned, even if we figure this all out and know how to deal with him, he’ll just have another group of equally annoyed people complaining to the mods in a few weeks…this has been the case for years.

The mods have created this monster. Though I find the idea of them worrying about fallout funny. They sure don’t seem to mind doing the occasional modding that pisses everyone off. At least with this modding most of the peasants will actually be cheering that something (whatever that is) was finally done.

What would cut down on the “Dio show” considerably is people just getting on with the thread and not jumping on a already packed bandwagon. Everytime this comes up lots of lots of people come into the thread to make the same fucking point, Dio is a dick. Yeah, yeah we get it. One or two posts is all that’s needed and then report the fucker if you want.
This BS is getting old. I honestly don’t know what’s more annoying, Dio or the asshats moaning him about him.
