I’m about to say you’ve gone round the bend, but I won’t state it definitively until I’ve heard your response.
She didn’t call her abnormal she called her “psychotic.”
True, it was said in response to a bit of a snipe by KellyM but still, going to the “psychotic” who wants to “cut off parts of your body” line is pretty much over the line.
If Catsix did not mean to imply that all transgendered people are “psychotic” then she needs to clarify in a big fucking hurry.
Isn’t Catsix married to Kaitlyn? I should think that might make her very accepting of transgender persons, but I might be mixing up my terms here. Mixing up my people, as well, since I think Kaitlyn has referred to her spouse as Mrs. Catsix.
As for the post in question, as I read it, Catsix seems to be pointing out an instance of KellyM trying to have it both ways, or something like that.
No, Kaitlyn refers to her spouse as “Mrs Six” because her former username was Number Six.
Personally, that comment of catsixs directed at KellyM could have been swiped word for word from the Ms boards she so froths about.
I think she’s got serious issues-I’ve never seen anyone so hostile towards her own sex.

Oh for gods sake, call of the PC police. It’s a personal attack, not a condemnation of transexualism. I take away from that statement that she’s calling KellyM a bitch. She’s just doing it in her particular, nasty way.
Thank you–I have been taken aback and then appalled at the hostility by catsix shown to anyone with XX for chromosomes. I did attempt to point this out to her, but got shot down for it (c’est la vie).

And don’t give me this PC police jazz. Questioning whether someone is normal and sane for having a sex change operation is not un-PC. It is unforgivably rude.

Technically, she didn’t say that transsexuals were abnormal or insane.
She said that it was “psychotic” to believe that transsexualism was normal and sane while simultaneously believing that wanting to lose weight was abnormal and insane.
That was because she once posted that she covered all of her mirrors until she felt that she had lost enough weight. Or something like that. KellyM pointed out that was a little extreme.
Just normal catsix behaviour, she’s a rabid misogynist (just cross reference catsix with feminism or nice guy). Whether the woman in question is a woman born, or a woman made it seems, based on the thread you link to.
Really, it’s interesting and wonderfully distracting to watch her go, just enjoy.
Personaly I’d love to watch her go. Just don’t ask me where.
Catsix has some very strong opinions, and expresses herself in a very blunt manner, granted, but I would not call her a rabid misogynist just because she has different views on various gender-related issues.

Not me, as I said, and have told her to her face…errr screen? I find her odd one sidedness fascinating and trying to figure out what makes her tick is a wonderful distraction from my broken heart.
I’m sorry essured I don’t know you in the slightest, but we’ll have to agree to disagree, in the threads I’ve seen her participate in (quite a few), she’s shown herself to be very angry, accusatory and rabid where it comes to who is supposedly defenseless and oppressed, and who is supposedly the enemy.
Three guesses as to which is which, and the first two don’t count. 
I can offer some context, because catsix’s comments were part of a conversation I was part of.
catsix had indicated that she wanted to lose some weight. KellyM, who can be pretty strident herself, basically told her that she was fine the way she was; that losing weight was extreme. catsix then asked if transgender surgery to change appearance wasn’t just as extreme.
I don’t remember when the conversation took place; it did take place in #straightdope IRC chat, however. (The usual disclaimers apply.) I might be misremembering specifics, but this was the gist of it.
All it was was a skirmish between two strong-minded people.

So catsix was not only being outrageously rude (at a minimum) she was bringing stuff from outside onto the boards.
Others (not mentioning any names, just thinking of my favorite ice cream flavor) have been banned for such things, and my understanding is that the mods have specifically frowned on crossovers from #straightdope and LJ. If that really is the source of the problems between those two, then catsix seems to be cruising for an official mod reprimand, at the very least.
Based on a prior conversation (yes, conversation) in which KellyM told me that I should seek psychiatric help instead of trying to lose weight because I needed to learn to ‘accept my body the way it is’, I figure she’s got one or two screws loose.
If someone who wants to lose weight should seek psychiatric help to learn to accept their body the way it is, but KellyM doesn’t, then I’d call that a bit psychotic in addition to being hypocritical.
I don’t think it was over the line considering what KellyM said about my mental state considering my desire to not be fat.
Nope. I was making a personal attack on KellyM for having called me fucking nuts because I wanted to change my body, an opinion she obviously continues, when it’s perfectly OK for her to change her body.
I happen to be under the impression that a person’s hypocrisy shouldn’t be allowed to stand anywhere. The continued sniping at me because, holy shit, I still disagree with Maureen and I said that I’m not a know nothing who should shut my fucking mouth was only compounded by KellyM and her personal drive-by that living with me would be the worst thing on earth. I didn’t deserve that response to merely pointing out that some people who disagree with Maureen may not be know-nothings who should shut their fucking mouths, they may actually be rape survivors.
