Ben Affleck annoys me as well, although I think his friend Matt Damon is actually quite a good actor. The only movie that I didn’t mind watching Affleck in was Good Will Hunting, and that was only because he was surrounded by the stellar performances of his costars (including Damon).

Of course I thought of Jennifer Lopez, too, when I saw this thread title. She is truly a media darling. Her movies haven’t been huge hits. Her albums have sold well, but not phenomenally well. Her clothing and perfume aren’t incredibly successful, either. But she gets more press than anyone. She’s a one woman publicity stunt. She’s all hype and no substance at all.
oh man, I forgot all of the “Reality” show celebrities. I hate them all, and I hate stupid Entertainment Tonight for ramming them up my ass and down my throat at the same time. It makes me sick (it’s so damned unhygenic)
