Re Cheney’s book: I wouldn’t buy the fucking thing if it was being sold at two for a nickel, even though it might be useful for squashing bugs. I wouldn’t even read the fucking thing except maybe at gun point and I would have to be absolutely convinced the alternative was death. I wouldn’t be surprised if the fucking thing was loaded with curses from the dark side; I would fear that if I did read it, everything I’ve believed in for most of my life would be expunged from my memory.
While the Cheney/Voldemort comparison is old hat, I hadn’t equated his memoir with Tom Riddle’s diary . . . until now.
