Oh gosh, I totally agree with you. While I am the first to admit that we might go a little overboard caring for our pets, I tend to think that basic care includes little things like food, water and interaction with their humans. Argh.
The dogs might be moving to Alaska. Or they might be moving next door. I’m the reason the next door dogs have shelter and a water bowl that Animal Control can see from the street. We don’t get along very well with those neighbors.
The nextdoors also aren’t very smart, they post their phone numbers on Nextdoor (I’m a lead so I read everything) and get surprised when I text or call them to complain about the dogs cause how did I possibly get their numbers. The husband brings his clearly marked work truck home to do not work things and wonders how I know where he works and which department.
Yes i am a bitch, why do you ask?
Start taking notes and updating your resume now. If you wait until the announcement, you will forget some of the important stuff you know. I’m hoping you will land on your feet posthaste.
I’m really glad we aren’t having a cute vote because Lola AND Nelson are both very, very cutie patooties.
Animal Control had already been over there. This is a pretty rural area, as long as they can tell the dogs have a bit of shade and water bowl, they won’t do much about barking complaints. Until one records at least 10 minutes of uninterpreted barking which even the barkiest dogs don’t do. They have stop and take a breath once in a while. That’s why I’m so glad the neighbors are dumber than GG. Calling AC doesn’t do nearly as much as calling someone’s work place to complain about the dogs barking for hours on end. Bosses tend to get annoyed by such things.
