Chicago’s reputation is on the line. Who makes the better chocolate marshmallow egg, Fannie May or California-based See’s Candies? Now that these are on sale, I want to make sure I order mass quantities of the better of the two.
Why did you do that? Chocolate/marshmallow eggs are my downfall. I have not even thought of them . Now you started it. We prefer Russel Stover in Detroit. Off season we go for Pinwheels. which come in a single serving package of 12.
Since this is about food, it’s better suited for Cafe Society than GQ.

Russel Stover is the Yugo of the chocolate world. I never heard of Fannie May but I can’t imagine how See’s can be beat.
I have had Fannie May chocolate, and it’s good…but it isn’t See’s Candy good.
I may be biased though.
Yes. You’re biased. Nothing is as good as Fannie May’s chocolate. That is objective fact.
Seriously? Russel Stover? That’s the stuff you buy at the 24-hour Walgreens because you forgot tommorow is Easter.
There are much cheaper ones available. I like them too. Marshmallows are marshmallows. With chocolate they are better. I have to make some home made marshmallows. Looks easy on the cooking channel.
Invest in about 200 yards of painters’ plastic. Otherwise you’ll never get your kitchen unsticky again.
Fannie May makes excellent candy. The best chocolate I’ve ever eaten was Godiva but that’s off topic. I’ve never heard of See.
