House almost got totally scrubbed yesterday just our bathroom and the litter box to change today. Then onto painting! whoohoo!
Cheesecake sounds yum!
My taxes are done - huzzah huzzah! And we’re getting a fed refund, thanks to the thousands we spent on new windows and stuff. I also managed to make the state refund smaller by changing my W4, so yay for that! And I’m glad that chore is done.
May I also say that swampy, I am crushed. You have broken my heart…

It is too cold here for me. It’s about -25. We looked out at the brilliant sparkly freezing outside and decided not to go to church on the bus with two small children who would die of frostbite.
We’re having another at-home day. So far I’ve done a bunch of baking. Hands up anyone who’s surprised!

Lunch was a success. We drank, we et, we laughed, we talked! Dishwasher is now washin’ and da cave is quiet. Ah Sunday!

I do know who my bestest Mumper friend is, tho, since I had a lovely, hilarious ecard waiting for me when I logged in this morning. (Thanks, Rebo! You rock!!)

The lasagna will be going into the oven as soon as I post this. Supper will be megayummerrific, I just know. Plus I’ll have lasagna for lunches all week. Or I can freeze a big chunk for a future dinner. Decisions, decisions…

We’ve been to the art museum and to the conservatory. Now we’re back and nephew is going to do his homework, I’m going to do laundry and brother is going to do work. Yeah, we know how to live it up!

Lasagna is in the oven. We’ll eat in about 45 minutes. I’m ready. I’s hongree! Plus my sweetie brought home a loaf of cheese bread which should make a lovely accompaniment.

I see what happened with my reminder thingy. Glad I looked. Every bday reminder is one day off! :dubious: Or was. Now it’s fixed. Yes, I do need sump’n to remind me. If’n I didn’t I’d never know when anybody’s bd is cause I forget. I should write all of ‘em on the calendar. Church folks bdays are easier cause I get a nice list of monthly bdays each month. Plus, all bdays for the upcomin’ week are listed in the Sunday announcements in the service leaflet.
What? I’m old and need to be reminded of stuff.

Just so’s you know, the lasagna was really good. Plus it was big enough that we can have 2 more dinners from it. And the bread was yummy too. I need to digest for a few minutes before I attack the cheesecake.
And since I know you’ve been dying to see his/her face, here’sCharley. S/he’s gotten really friendly, rubbing against us and purring like crazy when petted. Since boy kittehs don’t have the dangly bits, I need to look up how one sexes a cat. It’d be nice to know if it’s Charles or Charlene. 
boy kittehs may not have single danlgy things but they ought to have a pair of round danglies.
