Nah, Giuliani is a nobody at this point. The only thing Trump would get with a Giuliani endorsement is peals of belly laughter from every politician, political pundit and reporter.
I was half-joking, but I don’t actually think it’s unlikely. Derision from politicians, political pundits and reporters is what makes Trump stronger. He shoots up establishment derision like Stallone shoots steroids.

Really? A few weeks ago Christie said that Trump shouldn’t be president but that Christie should? Wow, that’s just amazing.

Christie just jumped to the winning team. Why the hell should we assume he’s getting the VP slot? His selection doesn’t make sense from any strategic pov I can imagine.

Christie is looking for continued relevance after his term concludes, and Trump is looking for assistance in smacking down Rubio and Cruz.

Why does Trump care what Christie wants and Trump doesn’t need assistance. In case you haven’t noticed, he seems poised to crush them like bugs.
He does need props though. He just turned the weekend news cycle away from getting gang bashed at last night’s debate to the Christie endorsement. I really would love it if Trump is a decent person underneath who’s steals the election by wearing wolf’s clothing, but he has probably reached the point where he can never remove those clothes.

I can definitely see this as being a favour for Trump but not “I owe you the VP slot” level favour.
God’s a big boy, he can handle minor insults like this - not that I would regard it as an insult to Christianity.
