Chuck (10/18/2010): "Chuck vs the Couch Lock"

What the heck is a couch lock? And will we see a new Greta at the Buy More?

[spoiler space]

The team must fake Casey’s death in an elaborate ruse to capture his former special ops team members who’ve gone rogue.

I thought I was so smart, figuring out that Casey’s team was a parody of the A-team, and not five minutes later they pretty much said the same thing!

Ellie isn’t even big enough to show yet, and already they know the sex of the baby? I guess the ultrasounds are that much more efficient in Chuckland.

I guess not this time, right? At least, if there was a Greta in this episode, I missed him/her.

I am looking forward to the upcoming episode where Greta will be played by

Summer Glau!

Eric Roberts seemed underused. And one of the other bad guys was the dude from Avatar, right?

Biggest laugh from me was when Casey stumbles away from the bad guys’ warehouse and gets Jeff on the BuyMore phone. Jeff: “I know that dumpster!”

She was showing. I’m sure I saw a subtle baby bump in this ep.

Looks like Chuck has a good chance of getting a full season pickup.

Awesome! (fingers crossed) If they get this back nine pickup early enough, maybe they’ll be able to plan out the overall season arc more evenly than last year, and won’t have to treat the 13th episode as a potential series finale.

I just realized that, with the baby coming, we’ll soon be seeing Ellie in maternity clothing. Not so awesome. :frowning:

It’s official. Chuck gets a full season! WOOHOO!!

:happy dance:

Great news!

I just read over on chucktv.net that NBC has ordered 11 additional episodes. instead of the usual “back nine” (or six, as was the case last year).

So there will be a total of 24 episodes this year. I hope they make the most of it!

Now that’s AWESOME!

Yes. He also plays one of the “squinterns” on Bones.

The third guy was pro-wrestler Batista.

I like it how they make Morgan a hero not by being good, but just by being super committed. He knew he’d be taking that jolt, but did it anyway to save the team. (A moment’s thought should have allowed him to minimize his personal risk, by standing on the concrete instead of in the water. But Morgan isn’t going to devote that moment; it’s not his style.) Kind of like the time he took on a tiger just because somebody had to.

It also took major nerve to shock Casey out of his paralysis by talking about sleeping with Alex. He’s lucky John didn’t accidentally twist his head clean off.

Also, wasn’t he wearing rubber boots and gloves? I was surprised when he got hurt.

Your point about him is good, though. He is super committed. Last year he even broke his own thumbs, he was so committed.
