Chuck (4/5/2010): "Chuck vs the Other Guy"

Yup, exactly what I opened the thread to say. Given that Chuck is not long for this world, last night watching the show (had it taped) I couldn’t help but wish they pull the rest of the episodes right now and call it a series.

I love the smell of shark jump in the morning.

So, is the series cancelled, then, or are we just speculating?

I think it’s on the bubble.

I still haven’t gotten over The Middleman and Terminator’s cancellations. Hope it stays a little longer.

The only thing we can hold on to at the moment is the fact that NBC really has nothing else to show so it might survive by default.

Unless someone pitches a reality show to them - “Radical Gardeners!” Or maybe, “My Cat is Fifty Pounds!”

Woohoo! De-FAULT! De-FAULT! De-FAULT! Goooooooooooooooo DEFAULT!

“Real Housewives of Granbury, Texas”.

The other way to look at it is that with Chuck becoming a real agent, the formula needed a wacky non-spy neophyte trainee to keep the formula going.

But I agree - this series would have wrapped perfectly - if it was actually wrapped up now. Awesome and Sis are out of the line of fire in Africa, Chuck gets the girl, Casey gets a new partner, Morgan gets to live the life he always wanted, and they all live happily ever after.

Now they’ll probably kill them all off.

Except Casey. They can re-boot the series with him as a mercenary type of gunslinger, maybe with a captain who wears tight pants and has a second-in-command who is an ass-kicking woman…

Adam Baldwin needs his own action show.

Won’t he spend most of the show in his bunk?

That’s a risk I’m willing to take.
