Was there a thread for this week’s episode? If not, what did you guys think?
I think it was awesome because Chuck has a Camel Book next to his bed.
I have no idea how or why I noticed that. Must be divine intervention from St. Larry.
I get the feeling they’re rushing to resolution out of fear that they’re not getting picked up next season.
I liked it. The shadow judges gave me Jake 2.0 flashbacks, though.
I’m not sure why I never picked up on the similarites before.
I think you might be right. It’s a given that any show I like will be on the brink of cancellation. Even if it lasts for a while, it will be on bubble every year. Meanwhile anything my mom likes will be a huge hit and last for a long time. Do you know anyone who watched According to Jim? My mom watches it.
Orion was great though. My WAG is that he is not dead.
I hope the show sticks around and it keeps going down the same path.
I like that they are letting Chuck slowly develop as a genuine agent/spy, it shows character arc and growth. I also like that the Buy More manager and auditor are both becoming part of the gang and getting fleshed out characters, instead of just being the defacto villain for the rest of the Scoobs.
I’ve been enjoying the whole “Chuck trying to figure things out on his own” arc. And I will admit to getting a kick out of the BuyMore loser guys.
Let me guess–she’s also one of those unknown zillions (I certainly don’t know any) who keeps NCIS in the top 10, right?
The original premise is getting near its limit of elasticity. It’s time to stretch Chuck out and give him some real-spy training.
What’s up with Big Mike calling Morgan “Son,” anyway?
He’s banging his mom.
Will the show be the same when Chuck becomes a spy?
I kind of wish they’d just spin the Buy More gang off into their own series. I like most of them well enough, but would prefer if Morgan, Ellie, and Awesome all found out about Chuck being the Intersect, and had to go into protective custody, leaving everyone else behind.
My apologies, I usually start the Chuck threads but I was watching the World Baseball Classic the other night and forgot to start one.
It looks like Chuck is finally going to get some real spy training if only at General Beckman’s insistence. I wonder if the general is going to stay on the West Coast to more closely monitor operations there?
Yeah, it’s really two shows. And I’m getting sick of the Buy More. Maybe they should change Chuck’s cover like they did Sarah’s.
Nah, I love it the way it is.
