Location? Location? Location?
I think we’ll go back to Pacer’s. That’s where we had the one last Fall.
It’s a known quantity, the noise level is pretty low, unlike some of the other suggestions, and it was pretty cheap.
I know that there will never be a perfect location, suitable to all.

I’ll call and make reservations for 10-15, starting at 6:00 on Saturday night, August 13th. Two weeks from last night.
Maybe next year we can try a Saturday or Sunday picnic/BBQ outdoors.

Count me in. I’m in the Heights area, so Pacer’s will work. There’s a bunch of similar taverns in the North Collinwood and Euclid area as well.
Let’s stick to Pacer’s this year, simply because about 10 of us found our way there last year. 
I really do want to have a cookout/BBQ next Summer.

I might be able to do it. I’ve got a forested backyard, a big deck (huhuhuh) and a good-sized patio slab that is perfect for entertaining. Lots of lawn furniture, too. It’s also fenced and kid/dog friendly.

So, we have a reservation at Pacer’s, at 5:45 on Saturday, August 13th. I should be able to get there by then.
I made the reservation under the name of “Adams.” I’m sure Cecil is flying in for this one.
WE have first dibs on the patio, assuming weather is nice. IF not, we’ll have the same tables as we had last Fall.
The nice lady on the phone said they no longer have a “hostess” on SAt. night, so if some people get there in that first hour to help hold our tables, that would be good. I plan on staying til they throw us out.
If you can think of anyone who hasn’t replied and might be a likely candidate, email them.

Dang, why do I always find out about these things at the last minute? (I found it in the “tell me about Cleveland, Ohio thread” in IMHO, didn’t notice it in MPSIMS.)
I will try to be there, I really enjoyed the last one, and it looks like the same sterling quality conversationalists will be there from last year. A lot depends on whether I can get my car fixed by the weekend.

This Pacer’s is pretty laid back. The weather report doesn’t look promising for using the patio. Rain due for Cleveland for much of weekend.
I’ll be there by 5:45 and Chronos has said he’ll be there around that time also.
I can’t believe I missed this thread until now! Tomorrow (oops, today) is the boyfriend’s birthday, and I’m hoping we’re doing something together, but if he cancels on me again, I’ll be at Pacer’s with you all, and this year I’ll actually be able to eat something! I’d drag the boyfriend along, but I haven’t told him about you guys yet! I’ll call Lillith Fair and see if she can come this year.
Just helped the mechanic button up the car at 6 AM. Should be there, I’m not sure if I can make 5:45 PM, but I’ll be there as soon as I can.
