It’s called 10 Cloverfield Lane. Trailer is here. Unbelievably it comes out this March. I still remember seeing that first trailer in front of Transformers. The Movie didn’t quite live up to it but that was one of the best trailers and marketing campaigns ever.
I’m stoked! It’s kinda cool how they were able to keep this production a secret.
I’m down for it. Cloverfield didn’t live up to its hype, but it was a fun ride; both the hype and even the movie itself.
I was actually hoping they’d follow up the first movie with something. Interesting that they ditched the found-footage angle, but I’m glad they did. I’m curious to see this franchise framed in a more traditional cinematic style.

Wasn’t a fan of the first movie (one my biggest movie peeves: “Let’s build the entire plot around people making exactly the wrong decision at every possible opportunity!”). But I’ll watch John Goodman in anything.
The first movie was decent as a big dumb monster movie, it was a lot of fun, but I barely got through it without puking 'cause of the damn shaky cam nonsense.
