I’m happy to see so many Fresca fans. Here I thought I was the only one left.

I fell in love with Fresca while rehabbing from Mt. Dew. I used to drink about a case and half of that stuff a day. Once I topped 200 lbs, I thought a diet soda would be a wise choice. Unfortunately, I found most diet sodas to taste only slightly better than Fromaldihyde(sp??). Oh, but not that sweet, grapefruit tinged, 0 calorie, elixir from the heavens. All hail Fresca.

Yum.
I’d better weigh in as another to say that Dr Pepper beats 'em both hands down.
But if I had to choose, I’d probably go with Pepsi.
And Cherry Pepsi is definitely better than Cherry Coke.
I confess I haven’t tryed Dr Pepper,
so, since some of you have named it,
I’ll have to do that.
Also all kind of diet cokes,
I can’t drink them,
they taste like washing-up liquid.
Yes. Have two friends who order it as exactly that in bars.
As for the OP, I can’t drink regular pop - have to drink Diet. Diet Coke is far, far better than diet Pepsi. Diet Pepsi is awful, nasty stuff.

I’d rather drink it straight. (Those who know me would say that isn’t a rare thing for me to do anyway.)
Now, I just had a thought. Is this thread referring to the companies or just the drink themselves? I can’t choose just one company or the other because I prefer Mountain Dew (Pepsi) over Mello Yello (Coke).

My father worked for Dr. Pepper. Coca-Cola was the forbidden fruit until I was around twelve years old.
I wouldn’t drink Dr. Pepper now for pay.

I like Pepsi better than Coke, but I prefer Root Beer.
I agree with KimKat about Diet Cherry Coke. I always look for it on my (infrequent) trips to the States.

I could always taste the difference, especially when both were warm and flat.
In fact, I prefer my Pepsi or Dr. Pepper that way; put in a bunch of ice, wait a half hour, drink.

If I had to chose between Coke and Pepsi I’d chose Coke.
My mom is addicted to coke and has been since I was a kid.(I love to see the look on peoples faces when I say that!)
Anyway, calling someone a Pepsi addict or Pepsihead just doesn’t have the same charm as Coke addict or Cokehead!

I was at a company meeting of my last employer once. The CEO gave a speech of course, mentioning in passing how we were like the Royal Crown Cola of our industry – not the biggest, but the best. Of course, I did notice later on they still served Coca-cola at the after party!
