Coke is better than pepsi, although to sweet for me. I enjoy Diet Coke the most.
Anthracite:
Fellow diabetic here, but I prefer Diet Pepsi. But, surprise, I think Diet Dr Pepper is the best!
That’s because Diet Dr Pepper tastes more like real Dr Pepper…than real Dr Pepper!
It was such a good ad campaign, until they tried to use it for Pepsi One…vile stuff ::
I’m partial to Pepsi. I actually like that weird sweetness to it. But I also liked ‘Coke’ when Coke came out with a revision of the original it in the 80s. Anyone remember that? But, of course, I prefer Dr. Pepper above all else.
Sprite, of course that may not count since its the un-cola and all…
so i will say pepsi
Even fancy restaurants that have 10 kinds of beer and 4 flavors of coffee will still insist that half their softdrink customers drink their least favorite brand.
What’ the big deal about having a few of each in the bottom of the beer cooler?
Coke here.
Of course, even more than Coke, I like Dr Pepper and Jolt cola. Everytime I take a Jolt to class, people stop me all day and say “Is that a Jolt?”. I still don’t get it. That’s all they say. Why do I get stopped for this?
Dr. Pepper sucks.
Mountain Dew sucks.
Jolt sucks.
Pepsi sucks.
Fresca, Squirt, A&W Root Beer, RC, and Crush (both orange and strawberry) are all wonderful.
Coke is the god of all and ALL pops/sodas/carbonated, syrupy beverages taste best when they come from either a fountain or a glass bottle.
Definite Cokehead, here, but I don’t mind the new Pepsi One, if I don’t have any Coke or Sprite.
Pepsi. I cannot drink Coke, it makes me gag.
Of course, IBC Root Beer is first choice.
Pepsi. I am most certainly addicted. i have pepsi with EVERYTHING… i mean EVERYTHING… breakfast, lunch, and dinner… the only thing i dont have pepsi with is the 2 things DESIGNED to include milk: Oreos, and Cereal. everything else my choice beverage is Pepsi.
I drink Coke, I have since I was a kid, that’s what my dad drinks, and therefore I followed suit.
I’ll drink Pepsi if there’s no Coke around and it’s in a can. I can’t handle Pepsi in a bottle, unfortunately, that’s all you find at my workplace, Pepsi machines as far as the eye can see. (Unless I want to ride the elevator down 19 floors to the newstand in the lobby, which is out of Coke half the time anyway.)
Dr Pepper is the fruit (fruit juice?) of the devil.
New Coke was an abomination.
Classic Coke in a glass bottle is sublime. A few months ago, there were these tiny little 8 oz. glass bottles of Coke available, and I just went nuts, I bought like three cases.
Cherry Coke sucks.
Cherry Pepsi sucks just slightly less.
Cherry Jolt Cola rules!
Mishell, I’m with you on the glass bottles. I worked at a convenience store when they came out. The one benefit of working there. Free 8 oz bottles of Coke.
ChrisCTP sez:
Jolt sucks.
 !!!
I’ll pretend I didn’t see that.
Grew up on RC, love a Coke anytime, Dr Pepper appeals to me, but GAG me with Pepsi!
As a choice between diet coke and diet pepsi, it comes down to packaging. I prefer the taste diet coke, but I love the 24oz diet pepsi 6-pack. Diet coke does not yet offer a 24oz bottle. I also prefer the pepsi 1-liter bottle to cokes 1-litre.
In the diet soda war, diet Coke is definitely
better than oversweet, overthick Diet Pepsi.
Diet Dr.Pepper is great, and when you have
a taste for it, nothing beats Fresca. You
can still get TAB in the NYC area, which is
great if you like sacchrine sweeted stuff.
PEPSI, no question, Coke is gag-o-rama.
About once every other month, however, I need a Dr. Pepper, or a Birch Beer (yes, birch, not root).
Mom taught me the following ditty when I was very small…Mom’s interesting:
Coca-cola is the drink,
to pour down the kitchen sink,
tastes like vinegar,
looks like ink,
Coca-cola’s a stinky drink.
I’ve always prefered RC Cola
