Something smooth that goes down easy?

I tried this too with sig lines by Wally: “Please, on my knees”

What does a gal have to do around here? Uh, nevermind, don’t answer that.

::tears begin to form in her eyes:: Bbbb…ut, I didn’t get my first turn yet! I’ve been dishing out Sainthoods left and right, and I don’t even get ONE drink? BWWWAAAAHAAWAAAA

“I go on guilt trips a couple of time a year. Mom books them for me.” A custom made Wally .sig!

Swiddles, you got the first one, it was just posted in the Coldfire thread yesterday. Here it is.

The SwimmingRiddle
3 oz. tomato juice
1 1/2 oz. vodka
juice of 1/2 lemon (or lime)
1/4 tsp. horseradish
2 dashes Worcestershire
dash Tabasco
dash celery salt
1 twist of the pepper-mill

Shake well with ice, strain, and serve in a Delmonico glass. Garnish with a rubber worm swiped from your Dad’s tackle-box.

The Spiritus Mundi

I’m not sure why I felt a drink with this name called for rum; I just did. This is more or less a Daiquiri made with Jamaican rum

3 oz Dark Rum
Juice of 1 Lime
1/2 tsp Sugar

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. garnish with a twist of lime.

Thanks. Sounds smooth.

This is definately something I want to get in on, if it’s not too much to ask from our beverage maestro. I just ask that it be strong and dignified. I try to avoid drinks that are less than 60 proof.

The waterj2

Strong and dignified. If Gaudere can drink Brandy Manhattans, why can’t I make up a Bourbon Sidecar?

2 oz Bourbon
1 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Lemon Juice

Stir with ice; strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Oh, shit, now I’ve made SwimmingRiddles cry. Stop. STOP. Here’s another drink!!!

The SwimmingRiddles No. 2

2 oz Tequila
3 oz Pineapple Juice
Juice of 1/2 Lime

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled champagne flute.

Uke, you are cooler than cool. You deserve to have a bar named after you! Thanks

Uke, you are truly amazing. I am humbled by your command of books and booze. You have my gratitude. Thanks!

Many thanks, that seems right up my alley. You truly have a talent there. As today is the last day of class for the semester, I think I’ll be trying this tonight. Granted, I’ll be stuck with Jim Bean, as I’m currently out of Wild Turkey :(.

Yeehaw! Just so happens I have some gin right here in my desk…

water: No problemo. Jim Beam and Wild Turkey are both bourbons.

{wince} If I’da known you were in school, I wouldn’t have given you a drink with Triple Sec in it (MY bottle’s gotta be about ten years old…it doesn’t come out much).

Well, here’s hoping you develop a taste for margaritas and sidecars.

I want one!

And I promise to have one as soon as my self-imposed alcohol exile is over!

Mmmmmmmm! Refined, yut beefy!

Thank you, Ukulele Ike, for your gift of an honorable drink.

Did I forget to say thank you?
Okay then,
“Thank you sir, may I have another?” (Sunshine Cocktail, that is. Mmmm, love that bitters…)

I know I don’t post often but I do drink often. Can I get mine? Please? I’m so thirsty.

Thanks, Ike. It sounds delicious. Maybe I’ll try one when hubby goes for his night out this month.
