According to Infinity Wards twitter page, this weekend is going to be another double experience points weekend and if that wasn’t enough, they are going to be adding Hardcore Headquarters to the playlist for consoles permanently. The PC has had hardcore headquarters for a while now.
This comes just in time for me since I’ve been grinding a lot lately looking to prestige again and I’m up to level 51. Hopefully, I can do that this weekend now.

This I know. I’m breaking all the rules, though. My most recent game purchase was The Orange Box and I’m underwhelmed by it. Portal is very nice, though.
Also, until something does better than Halo 3, it is the best shooter EVAR! Call of Duty is close. The single player campaign is better, but I really don’t care about that. I think I’m the anti-Yahtzee.
And it’s definitely misinformed to opine that COD4 is “old hat,” since it’s #3 on the most played games recently, beating out GTA4, Gears 2, and Guitar Hero, and has been for the past few weeks.
I’m way behind on my prestige and weapon unlocks, so I may take advantage of this to see if I’ve still got the skill with an M4 that I used to.
Umm, correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure that there is no CoD 5 as of yet. CoD World at War is the same engine as CoD 4 but re-skinned by a 3rd party.
Activision has more or less dropped numbering for the CoD series, but they did refer to World at War as “Call of Duty 5” before revealing the WaW subtitle. They’ve also referred to the next game as “Call of Duty 6”, but are now calling it “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2”.
