Coffee. Because jail is a real place and you can't get the MMP there.

I worked, made some stirfry chicken with veggies, and am watching hockey.

But why did the orange slay the rake?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeineated, and purtified so no YAWN. We’re goin’ to Pearly’s for brekkie this mornin’. YUM! 'Tis 57 Amurrkin out and partly cloudy with a predicted high of 85 and mostly cloudy yet no rain is predicted until Firday. We shall see.

{{{Taters}}} LTNS! Come back and play!

{{{sari}}} it’s hard dealin’ with an older dog, especially one who has always been cantankerous.

I hear rumblin’s from the bedroom that mean OYKW is about ready to go. About time cause tummy is very rumbly right now!

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

A night full of mega-weird dreams followed by a really tough time getting started in the morning. But I’ve fed the dog, fed myself, packed my lunch, and loaded the dishwasher, so some stuff has been accomplished. I even plugged in FCD’s phone because he didn’t do it last night and it was almost dead. When he unplugs it, it’ll only be less close to death.

**swampy **- have you forgotten we already have (had?) a Nut? Even tho she’s left us… Too soon for another.

Well, I need to roust my spousal unit from his slumber - he’s got PT this morning - then get my dragging self off to work.

Happy Wednesday, all!!

Up, caffeinated, off to work.

Well, woke up to complete my 63rd orbit of the sun today (It ain’t the years; it’s the mileage) to find that my likely choices for Presidnet are going to be Clinton and Trump
–as rosie says so well…BLURF.

Did the application for my TSA Pre-Check clearance yesterday, I’ve had it while working for the government, but with retirement looming and travel planned, I wanted to keep it. Cost $85.00 (!!!) for four (five?) years, we’ll see if it’s worth it when renewal time comes around. Does make those lines at airports much easier.

Got the back yard mowed last night, still hasn’t really gotten into the hyper-growth mode yet so I can get away with mowing every other week, but that may not last long.

May your 64th rotation be nice and joyful, Metal Mouse.

Dunnow about nicks, but Lagunas Matadas already had a theme song. I don’t think most of us have a theme song.

[Steve Miller Band]I really love your peaches, want to shake your tree…[/SMB]

Blurf, y’all.

Thank you, sunny!
Metal Mouse, it wasn’t a sleep-deprivation thing (for once), I was just having issues with my guardian angel, Murphy (the Lawyer).

Everything was going wrong yesterday, even thru lunch. I was in the other building, with the cafeteria. Thought I’d buy some rabbit food to go along with my leftovers to make it healthy. Came back into my building, walked into the kitchenette & what’s sitting there on the counter? A huuuugggggee bowl of Ceaser salad, complete with little containers of dressing on the side. :smack:
As for names, Hakuna matata is from Lion King, so we could go with Lion Queen, or just Queen for short.

Happy MetalMouse Day!!!

I’ve just about finished all my boss has given me. He wants us to start moving today - I may have a go at that. Just because.

Happy MetalMouse Day!!!

Happy
Birthday
Metalmouse!

Other than that just enjoying the sun.

BLURF

Happy Birthday MetalMouse
I have an appointment for my second knees injection. Not looking forward to it. It hurt very much last week. I guess if it gives me some relief for 6 months or more it will be worth it.

Happy Hump Day!
Happy Birthday Metal Mouse

and thanks for the election update - I can’t vote for him and I won’t vote for her, so this gives me time to think of a write in. Our primaries are next Toosday, but I can’t vote in the primaries so it’s moot for me.

It’s a sunny 58 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 70. It’s a bit chilly in the house, we turned the heat off a few days ago and I’m not turning it back on.

The dog is still sick, but getting better. The hard part is getting fluids in him. I made the beef and rice pretty wet. He won’t take it, but if I shove some in his mouth he wants more. But he won’t eat out of the bowl, he’ll only eat what falls on the floor.
So I’m going to try putting some on a cutting board and see if that helps.

Taters I’m going to try using a sling. It’s not that he can’t walk, it’s that he won’t walk.

I’m making some progress with the cat. I sit with him and do the eye close thingie with him and he is doing it back.

I finally got my iPad, I took it out of the box and put it back in. I don’t have time to fool with it right now - so it can wait.

I’m glad your sister is doing better **Swampy. **

Back from the knee injections. They did not seem to hurt as bad this week. One more week. I need to call my insurance company because the Dr’s office said I have not met my deductible so they charged me $168 both times. I feel as it I shouldn’t have to pay that much. It is not the Dr’s business if I have met the deductible or not. I should only have to pay the $35 copay. I will call and find out.

Sari my dog will not eat out of a bowl either. He prefers it on the floor. Crazy critters.

Happy birthday Metal Mouse!

I enjoyed my day shopping after my appointment yesterday. When I came back to irk today, I was reminded why I need a day like that every now and then.

I got back to a project in my studio that I had set aside for awhile. I’m putting together an album of family pictures dating back to the 1870s on my dad’s side. I need to drop off several packets of negatives that Dad sent home with me at Christmas, since I don’t have prints of them. Some of them date to the 1920s.

I’m on a conference call. What better time to sing real loud on a message board?

OK then, I’ll just talk to myself. :stuck_out_tongue:

Howdy Y’all! Day three of irk has been survived. YAY! Tomorrow is my Firday cause I’m takin’ Firday off. I may do a lot of those between now and when I retire bein’ as I have some use or lose days and I ain’t losin’ paid time off. Dindin is in the oven. It’s a frozen lasagna which will be served with bag sallit and garlic bread sticks. YUM!

I also plan to go over to the church house for Evening Prayer.

Fun pack evenin’ don’t y’all think?

Home. Spousal unit doesn’t want supper, so I’ll figure out something for myself - maybe just a bowl of cereal.

I’ve started moving into my new office. Tomorrow morning, I’ll move my computer and the rest of my crap. Someone else will have to transfer the phone.

I got our statement from the electric co-op today - our budget payment is going way down. We have a balance of over $800, so they’re dropping our monthly amount from $128 to $47 till we get caught up. I expect eventually it’ll settle around $150, based on what we’re using, unless rates go up, which they will. Anyway, that’s a nice temporary surprise.

And my first iris of the season has bloomed! It’s purty!

Thank you all. I got two candy bars and 59 minutes off from work to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Sari, good luck with the pooch.

Butters, glad to know that it wasn’t quite as bad this time; might it be a matter on who is doing the injections?

swampy, I always remember what my mom said in church “We may not be the best singers, but they’ll know we’re here!!”
