Hmm. I’m going to have to go to the one by my house now. Bye.
Grudge match!
Coldstone Creamery versus Marble Slab Creamery…decision?
mmmmmmmmm…Coldstone Creamery.
Cheesecake ice cream, coconut, pineapple= pina colada. Heaven.
There’s a Marble Slab right by my house and after visiting just once, I’ll never go back. It was dirty, the workers were rude, and it was nothing close to as good as Coldstone.
Oh yeah! I remember this stuff from last year. It’s brilliant!
Peppermint patties in mint ice cream. One cool explosion. Mmmmmmm…Coldstone.
I’d never even heard of Marble whatchamacallit before this thread. Are they nationwide?
Goddess Bless the Ambrosia that is Coldstone Cake Batter Ice Cream.
Good damn thing the nearest one is 30 plus miles away.
Cold Stone just opened up in the Pittsburgh area not too long ago, and I went for the first time last week.
Simply fantastic!!! I had the Mocha ice cream with Krackel and it was out of this world!! (the brother had the Cake Batter with rainbow sprinkles)
All I can say is that I’ll never think about a Blizzard again…
Bah! Amy’s Shiner Bock Ice Cream…and staff is cooler, too…
Cheesecake ice cream with graham crackers, chocolate chips, and cherry pie filling.
I’m so jealous! I love Coldstone, and they closed the one that was close to where I used to live… I’ll have to figure out if there is one around here… mmmmm ice cream drool
A coldstone just openned up here, but until it did, Maggie Moo’s served as a decent alternative. Look for one if you have no Cold Stone. Same shtick (ice cream plus your choice of mix-ins on a cold slab) plus they have a yummy cake batter flavor, too.
There’s one in downtown East Lansing, right in the center of all the college bars. Perfect for the summer.
Two favorites:
Classic Chocolate Ice Cream+ Strawberries + Blackberries
Pumpkin Ice Cream (last fall!) + Graham Cracker Pie Crust + Macadamia Nuts
The second one was absolutely sinful.
After a semi-healthy lunch today, I stopped at the Coldstone Creamery near our office to have my favorite:
Cheesecake ice cream
Fresh raspberries
Grahan cracker crust
Mmmmmmmm.
Oh my gosh Coldstone is my death. I’ve never tasted anything like this place. Had the Black Forest Dream (chocolate ice cream, cherry pie filling, brownies, and fudge) it one night after some shopping in the mall and almost fainted.
If only it wasn’t so expensive. For Mr. Winnie and I to have small sized ice cream creations it was almost $12! Definitely a treat to indulge in no more than once a month or less.
 That sounds soooo good! ~drool~
So, I’ve never been to this place, but I know that there is one less than a mile from my house. I’ve thought about going, but did not realize that it is apparently a god among ice cream companies.
It’s bright and sunny, perhaps tonight I’ll go and see if I find this place as worthy of worship as you all suggest. I hope it is, I’ve been existing on Baskin-Robbins and Haggen Das bars for my ice cream treats.
I believe my brain just shorted-out.
The “creations” are really expensive because there’s a price paid for each mix-in above one. I never get them. Amaretto + oreos (+ m&ms if I’m feeling rich) = LOVELY.
