he said he was taking medication. Not sure if those were his last posts. It sounded to me like he wasn’t thinking very clearly at the time. I thought the confusion might have been due to having set the clocks back, although I’m not sure when that happened in Panama.

This is a great loss to the SDMB. He was essential for answering any of our questions on wildlife, and I learned a lot from his posts, directly and indirectly.
