I know. I was just clarifying for our studio audience.
Also, I hope T-town suits wasn’t stupid enough to sell the jerseys. Otherwise, I don’t think there’s a violation.

Good thing you emphasized this, because it is a travesty that the Big East is considered a major BCS conference these days.
Meh. It’s a preseason poll. It doesn’t count.
While that sentiment is likely felt by almost everybody, what do you think the odds are that nobody on the list of 50 teams at 2011 Preseason College Football Polls (which includes every school that was somewhere on somebody’s Top 25, of the 21 polls listed) will be in the Final Top 25 for 2011? Which of the other 70 teams will crack into the final group?
What’s a reasonable number from the 50 listed that will actually be a Top 25 team? 25? 20? 15?
Serious question.
Some times I stutter when I type.
Another pre-season poll is available at http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt11.htm
If there’s another poll that shows all Division I (FBS (A) and FCS (AA)) teams in one grouping, I’m unaware of it. If you know of another, please link to it.
I like what Jason Whitlock had to say today about the NCAA’s supposed interest in reform:
Bump
Pre-season is over, first games are tonight, do we want to continue this thread? or make new thread(s) for the season. First half/2nd Half/Bowls.
Two blockbuster games Saturday: Oregon/LSU and Boise/UGA.
Hope Zeldar doesn’t mind me including a link to my College Pickem game thread.
This game has no limit on the number of players, and all are welcome. Join now and get those picks in for the week! Other details available in the linked thread. We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.
Let’s go with new threads. Please start one (or more) as you see best. This one served a purpose, but you’re right that we need to move on to real life!
Don’t mind at all! Jump in, everybody. Ought to be a fun season.
I won’t ask for this one to be closed, in case anybody has some “preseason” issues to add, or if any posts need replies. But it can fizzle out on its own.
As a Nebraska alum, I cannot wait for the Big Ten season. Why do I have to suffer with those pesky non-conference games first? Hurry up, October 1st at Wisconsin! And then Ohio State comes to Lincoln next week. And then trips to the Big House and Happy Valley. This is so exciting!
And, heck, I don’t even know whether we’re in the Legends or Leaders.
Holy shit…Mississippi State blasted Memphis tonight, 59-14. I don’t remember the last time they scored 59 points in a single game. Seems like I remember seasons where they didn’t score that much. Granted, it’s Memphis and not Alabama, but a great start for the Bullydogs. Go STATE!
Seeing no new threads started, I decided to start College football fans: how’s your team look? – 2011 Version
Here’s to an amazing and exciting year of football!
Are you really in that much of a hurry to lose to whoever wins the SEC?
