College Football 2013 Week 3

If he would have simply spiked the ball, it would get spotted on the right hash again. He wanted to center the ball to make the field goal easier. The thought was kneel in middle of the field, spike the ball on the next play, and then kick the field goal. 18 seconds should have been plenty of time for that, bu the refs decided not to spot the ball for some reason.

I missed my damn game! I was expecting a night game. Guess I was wrong!

Oh well. We won.

Well, that was an interesting game for my Huskers.

I wake up to watch at 6:00am Hawaii time to catch it, but have somewhere to be at 8:00. I finish at halftime, NU 21-10. We look totally dominant. Yeah, that last UCLA TD may have raised bells, but our offense was clicking, so we could stay with them.

I leave while the game is being recorded; staying away from radio and online updates. Time passes, it’s after dinner and I turn on the second half.

Things have taken quite a turn for Nebraska’s head coach:

NSFW Profanity-Filled Rant

I always thought after all the blowouts to mediocre teams he wasn’t the best fit for NU. Now we have a reason to fire him and not hear “There goes Nebraska, firing another 9-win coach”.

Can you say bye-bye Pelini? The comments from the AD and Chancellor are NOT encouraging.

It’s certainly embarrassing, but can you really hold someone accountable for what he said 2 years ago when he didn’t know he was being recorded? I’d give Pellini a pass.

So does Husker fandom, who have rallied behind Bo.

If anything, it provided a welcome distraction from the UCLA game. Despite a 21-3 lead, we lost 41-21 at home. Same story as our last 4+ losses. Only this time we didn’t give up 600 yards. I think UCLA got winded after only 500 yards.

Yet all that is lost in the “We support you Bo against the evil media who brought this up”.

False flag operation?
