They are trying to rob South Carolina on this spot. They got a generous spot, and it was still short. Wait, they did.
Wait again, karma corrects the injustice!
Instant, brutal karma. Hell of a play by Clowney.
Good job by USC on that last drive. Congratulations.
When Shaw got away from that certain sack…you just knew that it was SC’s day. Bummed. Great game, though.
Yeah it was a good game, but team made more plays when it mattered.
Up thru yesterday, I was rollin’! I predicted 15-4!
Lost them all yesterday, including the worst game I’ve ever seen the Trojans play. :smack: Kiffen needs to be fired, and that goofy, worthless quarterback needs to go with him.
2-2 so far today.
Woo Hoo!!! Finally! Only saw the first half unfortunately, as I had to go to my folks and they don’t have cable.
That was one of the most amazing hits I’ve ever seen. It was clean but it wouldn’t have been surprised me if he had killed Smith.

Woooo!! Go Cocks!!
And WTF was with that first down call when the ball was clearly 2 inches short? I thought maybe the ref had just pointed the wrong way by accident, but then he did it again!
It was the same guy who helmetted him straight in the nuts.
I was ready to see the guy’s head still in that helmet!
Huge, clean hit from a Stanford safety in the Rose Bowl. Ouch!
This Northern Illinois team is a scrappy little group! I think they are going to get whooped in the end, but they are makings this fun to watch! Kinda like Boise of years back…
Also: I want to shoot Lou Holtz in the face.
What took you so long? Many of us have wanted to do that for years, or decades. He’s a mumble mouth that managed to get the schools he coached placed on probation. For Notre Dame that was quite an accomplishment.
It is very interesting that NIU has actually played a competitive game. Good for them!
Another tough year for the B1G; they finished their slate 2-5 (1-2 vs Big 12, 1-2 vs SEC, 0-1 vs Pac-12).
My Badgers finished the year in a way that was very symbolic of their season. They lost six games, four by three points, one by 6 and one by 7, so within a single score in each game. Three overtime losses. And then they hammered a few teams. But the bottom line is that they lacked some offensive punch, sub-par QB play, and lack of leadership, I think.
As for the Big 10, yeah they finished 2-5, but I thought they acquitted themselves fairly well, losing close games to supposedly superior teams. And lets not forget that two of the best teams in the Big 10 did not even play in the Bowls (for good reason).
Meh. Nebraska could have won and so should have Michigan. They could have realistically been 3-0, 2-1, or 1-2 against the SEC. Wisconsin lost narrowly to Stanford and Ohio State would have crushed them. Put OSU in the Rose Bowl and move everybody else in the Big Ten down a bowl and it could have been 7-1 (Purdue would have sucked ass no matter who they played).
I’d forgotten about the ineligible teams in the B1G – good point. On one hand, after seeing OSU struggle against Cal, I’m not that impressed with the Buckeyes. On the other hand, I think Urban Meyer could coach rings around David Shaw. And don’t forget that the Badgers were playing in a bowl game with an interim coach: never a good idea.
True enough about the coach leaving. I am glad that Bielema left, I just didn’t like him. He was too prone to run the scores up on hapless foes like Minnesota. Plus I don’t like the notion of them getting guys who graduated elsewhere to find a graduate major not offered by their old school and come to Wisconsin for an extra year.
