OSU and Wisconsin played pretty evenly during the season.
OSU and Wisconsin both beat Nebraska easily.
2 data points=OSU very similar to Wisconsin
I think you are substantially overstating your case for your fictional victories.

With the Big 10 season now over, OSU finishes with the best overall record at 12-0.
Second best overall record? Northwestern at 10-3. They had fourth quarter leads in all three losses, and ended up losing to Penn State, Nebraska (by 1 point) and Michigan (in OT).
And they finally get the bowl game monkey off their back. I have high hopes for next year.
That’s just swell. My Bears open the 2013 season, and the Sonny Dykes Era, with Northwestern. And then Ohio State, two weeks later.
At least both games are at home.
Nebraska trash talks team that beat them by 2 TD’s.
“Nebraska running back Ameer Abdullah told the Omaha World-Herald that he doesn’t see anything special from the SEC’s top teams.
“I don’t care if it’s ‘Bama, I don’t care if it’s Notre Dame. Georgia was nothing special. We came out, we had ‘em tied. We just didn’t finish. I feel like we’re a better ballclub than those guys. You saw that early. We just didn’t finish,” Abdullah said.”
Georgia beat them by 14 and South Carolina beat them by 17in their bowl last year but hey, a crappy 6 loss Wisconsin, hung 70 points on their sorry asses a month ago so I guess Georgia only scoring 45 is a source of pride at Nebraska, these day.
Here’s a site to more Nebraska mouthing off…
Silly Bug-eaters.
To give them the benefit of the doubt, many Husker fans (myself included) thought Georgia would destroy us worse than 6-loss Wisconsin. We were not happy about being in the Capital One Bowl, after having our Rose Bowl dreams crushed so violently. I don’t think we even sold half our allotment, so rosy (heh) were our prospects against #5 Georgia.
So, do understand many of us were surprised it was close into the final quarter.
What can I say, it’s been a tough dozen years since Osborne left Nebraska.
Florida getting their ass kicked by Louisville. Onside kick resulted in two personal fouls and a player getting ejected. Yeah, Florida has checked out mentally, the kids are busy wondering what club to hit up tonight.
This post is so pathetic it makes me feel sorry for B1G fans.
“Nebraska could have won..” What does that even mean? I suppose if they scored a lot more points, maybe.
Whooda thunk? I and probably most college football fans would have expected the score to be just the opposite with 13:00 left in the game.
The worst “trash talk” of the bowl season has to go to Miss. State. One of their players said something like “a player with speed in the B1G gets noticed, in the SEC it is expected.” Well, Northwestern showed them something. Maybe it should be, “in the SEC a player with intelligence gets noticed, in the B1G it is expected.”
Yeah. 9:00 left in the 4th. Who the hell predicted this?
I love it. Except I picked FL to win. :rolleyes:But got nothin’ on it!
Damn dogs are pissing me off. If they’re in, they want out. If they’re out, they want in. (Its 9 degrees outside right now) Thinking while I type. Novel Idea…
Yep. (Although FL isn’t coming in on a tailspin. FL backed into this game after UGA lost the SECCG).
This game is giving me flashbacks of Alabama vs. Utah from a few years ago.
And just as I post this Florida scores. I should post here more often (said nobody else, ever.)
Nice return.
But you’re still gonna lose!
Did he say that after they’d already lost? If not, his trash talk doesn’t come close to the multiple Nebraska players’.
No, he made it bulletin board material before the game. It was featured early in the game.
I’m an SEC fan who has been watching NW all year. I predicted them (the Wildcats) to win by 2 TDs, so I’m not really persuaded that the State player’s comments had any effect on the outcome.
Trash talking a team after they beat you by 2 TDs, however, takes a special brand of stupid. I guess they don’t become as smart as the rest of the B1G until they’ve been a member for 5 or 6 seasons.
Funny tweet/picture from Darren Rovell of Espn. Taken this evening on a newstation in Miami.
Terrible clock management by Florida. I’m cracking up here.
I’ve wanted to do this since 1984. Just no internet to post my shame.
Well, to the embarrassment of the B1G, after accepting Nebraska, they were dropped from the prestigious Association of American Universities which makes them the only university of the B1G that is not a member.

Wow. Whouda thunk this shit?
