OU has blown goats away from home. I think that’s a big part of it.
The first game is today, better get your picks in. Make sure you hit the “Submit Picks” Button.
I’m in, I think got it all to format just before the buzzer.
Was Petrino the guy Ryan Mallet wanted to play for at Arkansas? If so the kid is having bad luck.
I’ve joined the pool. I’ve picked every game except for the New Mexico Bowl, as I registered literally right after kickoff. Got hunches on Texas, Temple, and Navy.
I’m already 0-1. Only 3 confidence points, though.
Good start to the bowl season - double OT, goal line stand, missed FG…
It looks like Longhorn Dave is out to a quick lead by putting 14 points into a big Wyoming upset. I see a lot of people that haven’t seemed to finalize their picks. A lot have (-1) and (-2) by the first 2 games. Lock them in, people.
And my bleeding continues. Didn’t pick Wyoming, and didn’t pick MTSU (glad they won, though. Fun game, and Dasher is a player. Looked like he shattered a knee or an ankle on 3 separate occasions. Played all the way through the end.)
“O” fer three. LOL. Tied for last.
Lepak injury could mean Sooners play 4th center

Damn it. Between the wind and BYU’s defense, my pick 'em stats are heading to the toilet.
Oregon St is blowing chunks in this game. I picked a lot PAC-10 teams to win in this pick’m. I wonder if this game is indicative on how the PAC-10 will perform this bowl season?
That 30-yard helmet-to-helmet/unsportsmanlike penalty was ludicrous. He put his helmet on the ball.
Oops. Never mind. Johnson just got revenge.
1-3 now. 4 bowl games… 3 upsets. Just who is this “Matt Millen’s Legacy” with his prescient picks?
Could be worse, you could be 0-4…
Are there more upsets during the college bowl season than during the regular season?
Assuming so, is it because it’s hard to predict which coach will be able to get their team back into the mindset of just playing football? Or is it because bowls throw together teams that don’t usually play each other, nor have a lot of common opponents, so the comparison data we have is more limited than in the regular season?
0-4, uh that would be me. This is why I don’t bet on football games.
Can’t believe how bad Oregon St. looked last night. We can usually count on the Beavs to come together at the end of the season and finish strong…I fear this does not bode well for the Pac-10. Maybe the SEC will suck too, and the big story will be that the Mountain West sweeps the bowls.
Reporting to you live from the Poinsettia Bowl and the lobby of the Cal Bears team hotel, this is jsc1953.
That would be me. I voted with my gut, then checked the experts, and realized I picked about 15 upsets in 34 games. I wasn’t expecting to do very well(and since we are 4 out ot 34 games in with my small confidence mostly, still probably won’t).
I’m 2 of 4 now, tied with Omni for 2nd.
