Go Bears! Beat the Bye!
Or not at all!
Well the Badgers laid a big egg today. They gave up a 76 yard punt return for a TD. Their special teams unit is coached by Head Coach Bielema and he is unwilling to fire himself from that job and hire someone competent. Sigh.
Michigan State consistantly beat the Badgers on 3rd and long with simple play-action fakes, screens, misdirections in the run game and other basic suck-the-defense-in-and- go-the -other-way types of plays. Grade school kids learn how to sniff plays like this out, but evidently the Badgers are incapable of discerning basic football trickery.
Michigan State overcame 3 turnovers and just seemed better coached and better prepared.
Kudos to the Spartans.
I like the cut of your jib! I’m going to the USC v Bama game next week. I kind of hope they’re still #1 when we beat them.
Ten qbs have rushed for 200 yards and passed for 200 yards in a game. Denard at U of Michigan has done it twice in 5 games.
He is a ball to watch ,but their defense can’t stop anybody. It was 42 to 35. you can not go very far with luck determining who wins. Last one to score gets the victory.
Oklahoma jumps out to an early lead and then struggles to hang on. Sooner (heh) or later, their luck will run out.
That was a long, long way from being a Bama loss.
Roll Tide!
Well, Michigan has followed my script perfectly so far. Unstoppable offense, very permeable defense. But they are 5-0 with a couple all time records under Denard’s Jock. And next week there is big brother-little brother knock-down for all the marbles next weekend. all we gotta do is win 1 of 7 and we are back to a bowl, with Illinois and Perdue-Marve on the schedule I have to believe the darkest days are behind
PSU were doing pretty bad by the time I went to bed last night. I know that their QB is a true freshman - and it shows.

With all due respect and deference to my fellow CFB fans here who may be offended: any week in which U$C, Stanfurd and Texas all lose is the best bye week EVER. If LSU had just lost it would’ve been better than a Cal win…practically.
Notre Dame won.
Never a good thing.
Do they still play?

U$C lost too? OMG, I didn’t know. And Texas too! It’s like Christmas!
Woot! Northwestern breaks into the Top 25 (USA Today poll) with an ugly-ass win over Minnesota. Two turnovers in the red zone are not pretty.

Wisconsin is ranked 12th this year (though only third in the Big 11), which means they’ll disappoint this year.
Badgers on their way to confirming my worst hopes. Next week is a get-well home game against the Gophers (who were surprisingly tough against NU) and then the game of the year with Ohio State coming to Camp Randall.
Bielema looked lost on Saturday. Maybe he was looking for a new fifth string guy to play kick coverage.
I’m a University of Georgia fan.
This season is dead to me. Dead.

What the hell is going on down there between the hedges? You guys lost to Colorado!

Probably the same thing that’s happening in Austin this year…all the four and five star recruits you can get do not necessarily result in a team that plays winning football.
