Opal, if I can get a car that will travel me up there, I will be more than happy to meet you, finally. Unfortunately I have a cracked radiator and it making it up there is iffy at best unless I drive in the middle of the night.
I will ask my brother if I can borrow a car from him, gosh darnit, I want to meet you!!!
Just throwing out an idea if anyone is intersted. Since cash available seem to be an issue for a few of us, how about an outside get-together. If we could find a good campsite really near C spgs we could have a low buck gathering. Everybody meets and talks and drinks, and those interested stay and camp. It would have the benefit of all ages people and dogs allowed + frisbee golf or whatever activities And the cheapness of store-bought booze and grilling for food. Just an idea anyway.

The Old Chicago at the north end of town, Woodman, might work. If we sit downstairs, the underage can attend. I can’t think of too many outdoor places where alcohol is allowed, except for the AF Acadamy, although someone’s house might work, but I can’t volunteer mine.
This is weird, I for no good reason did a search for Colorado Springs just in time it looks like. I would attend, but I’m curious about the ages of other attendees. Not to be a dick or anything, but I’m 23 and would feel kind of awkward surrounded by a bunch of people in their 50’s. So out of curiosity, what are the ages(/gender) of all you folks planning to attend??

The date has passed. I’m 42, but at least one person expressing interest was too young to drink, so we are not all old farts.
