There seem to be some Dopers here in the Denver Colorado area (me, techchich68, Bricker, etc.). Perhaps we should get together and do something fun? We’d make a hell of a TNT team!

Lexicon is scheduled to move up to C Springs pretty soon (by the end of the month). I am sure he would be glad to participate.
Maybe he, his girlfriend and I can “carpool” to Denver.
Any cool places open up lately? I haven’t lived in the Metro area since Aug of 98, and have only been up there for football and baseball games.
I’ll ask my friends who party more than I do. There’s a lot of nice places, depending on what we want to do.

I know! There is, after all, a way I can attend at least for a bit: Someone bring a laptop and get on the Internet at a prearranged time, and I can join through ICQ or AIM, or some other chat spot. If no one has a Net-enabled laptop, is there a cyber-cafe in Denver (or wherever you’re all meeting)?
Of course, what I REALLY want to do is show up in person, because even with DSL I don’t think I have enough bandwidth to reach through the wires and pat the Commander on the fanny. 
Unfortunately, I can think of no plausible excuse to up and fly to CO on a moment’s notice by myself. If anyone can think of a way to make that not smell fishy to Mrs. Chef, you have a lifetime job writing all my excuses from now on.

Your husband’s kidney is an exact match for mine that is ailing (too much water I believe). We can either do the bathtub filled with ice thing or you can send him up to Denver where we can be oh-so gentle in our extractive efforts. We have full technical and infection control support available.
