In the year or so I’ve been posting I have seen one attempted dopefest, and one happen that I couldn’t attend.
I want to see about getting together, but my biggest problem is that I work weekends.
So, Iowa Dopers, check in and let’s toss some ideas around.
Where in Iowa?? If it’s within driving distance of Omaha, I’d be interested.
I’m not sure how long it would take to get here. I’m in the Quad Cities area, and I don’t get out of Iowa much.

Until the 25th of August, I’ll still be in the very southern part of Minnesota. (After that I’ll be in Duluth.) There’s a small chance I might be able to make it to an Iowa dopefest.
Any place East of I 35 will work of me. CR is a pretty good town with good resturants and taverns.
I don’t like to get too specific about personal info like my address, but I’m not very far west of you.
I get weirded out at the thought of meeting internet people in real life. So if I went to a dopefest, it would be the first time I’ve ever done something like that.

As for date, time, location, I’m not sure of any of that yet. Like I said I work the weekend warrior shift.
I’m not good at planning these things but I really want to meet a few of you.
Maybe middle September-ish… for me…(my birthday is September 12…hint hint) my standing offer of homebrew libations still stands.
