Up, caffeinating, breakfasted and fixing to throw a load of towels in the wash before cleaning up the kitchen. It was 12F when I took the dog out this morning. I’m mad, tWPTB promised that we would be warming up more than that this weekend.

22F here and now, am refereeing 4 indoor soccer games this morning and then taking a training class until 5pm, so my day is fairly full.
Siamese (don’t know his mmp’er name) made me curious, so I looked at the temperature in Abu Dhabi (I lived there 1999-2003). 71F at 6:30PM. Those poor Arabs are just freezing over there…
Now I need to go break fast.

You lot apparently have such cooold weather that even readin’ about it apparently dropped our local temperature by about 10ºC. I’ve discovered one of the cool things about skylight windows though; they had the prettiest frost patterns on this mornin’.

Back from Fredburg. We filled the car with cheap Virginia gas, had a McBreakfast (french toast for tomorrow) and bought the stuff we wanted. I’ve got a load of jeans in the washer and **FCD **is heading to Lowe’s for some shelves and the new type smoke detectors required in MD as of the 1st of the year.
I need to clean the critters’ water fountain. Can I bear such excitement??
Woke up later than usual this morning, but it was mostly because I was up later than usual last night.
I don’t feel worse today. I’m still achey all over, but it doesn’t feel like it’s anything too serious. I’m thinking I might make a doctor’s appointment for tomorrow just to be sure it’s nothing too bad.

I have been reading and finished the new Fire and Fury book about Trump.
It is also very cool and windy here.
I picked up the cake, got us some N.O.L. from DQ, and have made up a ham and mac ‘n cheese casserole for tomorrow which is brunch Sunday over to the church house. JDD and Partner are comin’ over around five which is when prep for chili dawgs shall begin. Oh, I did a load of laundry. I am so productive!
Laundry is done. Salmon is thawing for supper. And, um, I cleaned my glasses. 
Not too productive, but I’m OK with that.
I am amongst the living. Yesterday was the first day I didn’t think I would die. Went to the sto this morning. 12F going up to 33F tomorrow. I may drive to the barn to see Ariel. And I want a cigarette!
One more day of stoopit cold, then we return to more typical temps. Wonder how long the snow will last? Gutter guys are returning on Thurs - hope it’s gone by then.
Home again. It made it to 29 today, but it’s down to 23, with a 15 windchill. Hopefully it only drops 3 more degrees by the time the hockey game starts.

Went shopping at Sam’s for used meat and bought three tricycles. :smack: They had them on clearance for $50 and I sort-of-half-jokingly asked a manager if there was any more discount if I took all three. She said $40 was the bottom end so we took them all. We got the room to store them until next years toy drive by the leather club. One pink, one blue, one red and I can see much squeeling when the guys and gals see them next December.
A good time was had by all this evenin’. We ate, we drank, we laughed. Now I feel like goin’ beddy bye.

Refereeing and training completed, did some shopping and gassed up car and have been properly fed. Temperature is back into the low 20F range and heater is working overtime.
Relaxing and probably going to turn on the tackleball game here shortly.
