It was 8° when I let the dog out. Yesterday, **FCD **shoveled a little area where she could pee and poo without getting her puppeh bits frozen. Sucks to be a short dog.
The roads were mostly dry - dunno how they treated them or if they treated them, but it was a less harrowing commute than yesterday. And it’s Firday, so there’s that.
I discovered that my paycheck was shorted by 3 hours and I’m not sure why, so I sent an email to payroll. I want my money, dammit!!!

Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, well, onward into the day!
Turns out I got overpaid for 3 hours back in November, so they just corrected it this payday. So I got my money after all. Now they just need to get the charge numbers for the new year loaded so I can log my time for this week. I’ve been keeping track on my desk calendar, since I work on so many projects, there’s no way I could remember them all.
Which reminds me - I’ve got to attack a new task today… Onward!
You’ll be pleased to know that the pointy stick was successfully wielded against the gym’s head office yesterday, I’d just finished messaging them via their farcebook page when I got an email confirming a full refund. There is a new gym opening up in mid-Feb so I have already signed up with that one and will be bailing out of this sh*tshow once I have somewhere else to go. I had seen a class for “singles cycle” on the timetable for tonight, yesterday I asked about it on the club hub as I didn’t know what kind of class it was, and today it’s disappeared so I can’t even book it to find out.
Doggio - I am saving the Sri Lankan ninja spider troops for the day I decide to leave that gym and they kick up a fuss about it. Apparently they get very unhappy if you just cancel the direct debit payments instead of following some peculiar process they’ve set up which most likely involves giving them notice of cancellation so they can screw an extra month’s payment out of us.
I saw the thing on the news about Florida’s frozen iguanas, luckily the majority see to have warmed up again and made it back to the trees. Hope none of landed on anyone’s head!

Signed up for some soccer administrative classes tonight and tomorrow afternoon, and will also referee some indoor games, so my two+ weeks of sloth are coming to an end.

Ruble driving on ice is something I can manage in my AWD BMW, with super AWD on if needed, appropriate speed used, and a distinct lack of other morons on the road. Unfortunately I can’t control for the last part… Good luck to you.

Both of my kiddos came home with migraines yesterday. I’m certain that my genes are good for something - brains and good looks no doubt - but getting migraines too seems very unfair.
The rain is back. Guess I should woman up and pump my own gas. Oh wait, I don’t have to. Ha! 39 degrees on waking. High of 53. This looks like the pattern for a while.
