Thats a fair assessment. Or a tinpot dictator’s incompetent son.
Trump takes a level of incompetence, corruption and criminality that people aren’t used to and mushes them together. Running for president was probably the biggest mistake he ever made.
The one saving grace is that Trump (and to a lesser extent republicans in general) are so incompetent and delusional that the damage they are doing is limited. Imagine if they were intelligent and competent.

Let’s be clear about one thing: Trump has never been about actually doing one thing or another, (because he’s barely competent). All he ever really cares about is presenting an image of himself. That’s what got him elected, and it’s only thing he knows how to do in order to keep his dog-and-pony show going.
