Let’s take a stop back and appreciate the the head of the FBI, who was fired by a president from his own party for investigating him, now thinks that it’s possible that said president is compromised by a foreign power and is working against the best interests of the United States.

What do you mean ‘now thinks’. Comey was fired for investigating Trumps involvement with Russia. Trump admitted to that on national television.

FBI Director Candide might respond by noting how good it would be to thoroughly investigate and prove there is no truth to any of it! A resounding vindication would be a bracing tonic in these troubled times!
