I’d love to see Cherry Poptart and especially Omaha The Cat Dancer as movie length cartoons, unfortunately I believe only the Japanese could really do justice to either and I doubt anyone in Japan had even heard of these characters
She’s shown up in a couple Ultimate Spider-Man episodes but I doubt she’s popular enough to get the Green Hornet treatment.
Could have said the same thing about Guardians of the a Galaxy at one point.

Larry Welz was in fairly serious negotiations to get that made–R. Crumb refers to it rather derisively in the movie Crumb–but the farther down the line it got, the more it became just another cheap porno with no real connection to the comic book. Yeah, this movie might actually have gotten made and nobody noticed because the names were changed at the last second.
I loved the episode of The Super Hero Squad Show where DD and Wolverine teamed up.
Yeah, it was ridiculous but so is everything else on that show.
