It’s not the quote itself that gets me, but I love that at the end of No Man’s Land when Gordon shoots him, he gets the joke – “What? Oh! Just like your daughter! HAHAHAHAHA!!!”

From a Superman story where’s he’s got all of Supe’s friend held hostage in his office, and his secretary calls him on the loudspeaker. “Mrs. Cavendish? How many times have I told you never to interrupt me while I’m gloating?”
From the Laughing Fish story previously mentioned - He’s doing one of his monomaniacal rants about how anybody who eats fish will have to pay him a copyright fee because he put a chemical in the water that makes all fish look like him. Then he gets a serious look on his face and says “But what if everyone in the world stops eating fish? I hadn’t thought of that!” Then he laughs again and says “I’ll just use my chemical on the cattle. Then we’ll have Joker Burgers! HAHAHAHAHAHA!”
From a JLA story, where Joker has stolen a tank, but the gun jammed as the JLA faced him down. “I wanna go back to Arkham!!!” Then Batman arrives in his Batmobile, sees the Joker dressed up in his military general outfit, decides he doesn’t have time for this, and speeds off. Joker runs after him screamling “SAVE ME MY DARK KNIGHT IN NOT-SO-SHINY ARMOR! SAVE MEEEEEEEEE!!!”
