So what did you guys think?

Drew Carey looked so strange last night. I haven’t seen many pictures of him in the last few years, but he’s up there with Alton Brown for weirdest post-weight loss look. It wasn’t a very big part and he’s not that great of an actor, but I did enjoy the hole in the hand gags.

Annie and the chloroform had me in tears. It was the combination of escalating hijinks with her nonchalance later when she casually started pouring out more chloroform for Jeff.

Loved that the lawyers got everyone to turn to the dark side for a little bit.

Best line: “She’s a stripper. Life sued her, and she lost.”

Is every episode this season going to end with a psychotic episode from Chang? I hope so.

I thought that his was a much stronger episode than the premiere. The characters seemed to be more like themselves, and it was a hilarious episode. I hope they completely screw Chang every episode this season.

The chloroform was funny. Drew Carey looked like he aged about a thousand years.

That whole scene with the chloroform and the security guard was hilarious. It was so close to literally having me rolling on the floor laughing.

Yes! It’s back!

So much better than the first episode.

I’m a huge fan and I’m still not feeling it. It’s about to go out of the rotation.

I saw an article about him that said that he lost a lot of weight (for health reasons, not because of illness).

Let’s see: Drew Carey and Rob Corddry. Nice.

Was that Garrett in the dance contest? Starburns definitely looks way cooler with the hat. What will he do next year?

BTW: The janitor was played by an actor best known for appearing occasionally on another Thursday night show. (His first appearance on that show also involved being anesthetized.)

I really wanted to see Troy run into the wall. That would have been much cooler. Maybe it’s a buildup to the stop-action episode that has been rumored.

Not enough Britta. And no classroom stuff. I want more goofy professors (and Slater of course).

I think Drew just has lots of loose skin on his face from losing weight.

Terrific episode. Annie stole yet another show.

the only gripe i can even conceive of is that if they’re going to make a big deal out of annie’s boobs, then they should show more cleavage. more cleavage is pretty much the only thing i could ever gripe about re: this show.

Drew Carey looks like Irwin Barker now, and Irwin Barker died of cancer a few months ago.

If this show tops the chloroform scene this season, then we’re in for a legendary season of TV.

I love this show so much.

I was actually thinking that I never really saw him really “act” before, and he was much better than he was on his sitcom. I don’t know if it was great, but he seemed a lot at it than I thought he would be.

Maybe the hole in his hand helped?

Yes, the chloroform bit was too funny!

It’s only been two episodes so far but I’m not feeling the magic like I did for season 1. However, I’m still a big fan and hope to see more as the season goes on.

My favorite was when he shook hands with Jeff and there was a popping sound.

And yeah, he looks strange. He usually carried his weight pretty well, but if he’s in better health now, I guess looking all weird is a fair trade off.

The popping sound was so subtle, I almost missed it.

On the one hand, I’m glad that Drew Carey is getting healthier and taking care of himself. On the other hand, he just looks so old without all that nice padding filling in the wrinkle-space.

In this episode, we got more background on Jeff and Annie. I really hope they tackle Brita’s background soon though. There’s probably a gold-mine of dysfunctionality there.

After the handshake, Jeff was subtly rubbing his hand in that spot, too.

He had a hand hickey.
