Ah, okay. Yes, I saw the Facebook picture.
I’ve practiced some of my instruments and I plan to head downtown tonight for a friend’s concert.

MOOOOOOM guess what! I dusted and vacuumed! Also preparations for dindin are under way. Ima grill some boneless ribs (ie pieces of poke shaped like a rib), oven bake some sliced N.O.T., saute some yellow squishes, zucchini, and onions, and make some corn bread. NUM!
Went to see a movie last night. Lots of people sleeping with aminals; one guy slept with fishies, one guy slept with a horse (head), some guys sleeping with Oscars (fishies, again).
The cool part was underneath the big screen there was a live, world-renowned orchestra playing music at the appropriate points. They do this a time or couple during the summer. We had to upgrade to real seats since it was raining & we would have gotten quite wet on the lawn.
Not as wet as tomorrow’s (now cxl’d) outdoor dinner & movie, when we’re supposed to get 1½" of rain.
Good gad, a chef of your experience and taste (except for Brussels sprouts), have you no shame?
Chickies will be done smoking in about 45 minutes. Then we’ll husk the corn and steam it, cut up the broccoli and steam it in another steamer, set the table, and have a nummy dinner. I’s stahvink!
Dessert will be at DQ because these poor Floridians don’t have a DQ near them. Works for me.
I’m running on empty. Dunno if I’ll make it to 9PM. Don’t care - once we’re done with dessert, all bets are off. I’m OK with an 8PM bedtime.
Thank you!!!
Your votes got me in to the finals. Please vote for mine (“When Sally said Margie was full of hot air, she didn’t know how right she was.”) here. And Thanks Again!
Done rosie.
flytrap that’s how I describe “country style ribs.” They are actually ribs cut away from the bone but IMO ribs must have bone. Still they are right tasty grilled and smothered in bbq sauce. Speakin’ of which, dindin was nummy and we had locally grown watermelon for dessert. YUM!
OMG, dinner was amazing!! Plus there’s enough leftover for a BIG chickie salad! We’s all stuffded, but we’ll be going to DQ a little later.
Doggies are running around like crazies. They won’t do that outside, but in here, they’re a hazard!!
I did not know where they came from on the pig. They seem too fatty for me.
Yes, one needs a bone to grip, as in Quest For Fire.
Ron Pearlman’s first film, BTW, chosen because he had “simian features”.
I didn’t win
You got eighteen.
Hell, I received none, and mine was funnier.
Did a fart joke win, Rosie?
The Metamorphosis reference should have been a solid winner.
*dammit. *
Home from DQ. I’m about to pop my meds and go to bed.
MWAH!
Fine.
Rosie and I are neglected from two certain wins if Facebook users were not illiterate and stupid, and you are popping pills.
Fine.
I’m very sorry, it is Shabbes.
Fine, already!
Watching a thunderstorm after I laid down with Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) until she slept before getting up at 9:00 Post Meridian to go to the dark, Satanic mill.
Why do we honor Satan with a capital letter?
But I digress.
My neck hurts like hell.
Nice thunderstorm, though.
I have not killed the MMP, you are either Old and Asleep, or young and busy Becoming Debauched.
I can sleep easy in a couple of hours.
So TVCTPMO was calling in reinforcements on me today.
Sorry.
I would have debauched, but I couldn’t get service.
Happy Birthday Rockin’!
Damned unfortunate, Sir. I presume that your second shall call on…some one.
My VCTPMO was active, too. Irk went OK (I do find the “I already know everything about this job” new girl who’s been there less than a week obnoxious, but that seems to be consensus among our group), except for being WAY too hot. Got home OK (even with grumbly DH), discovered that a bookcase I’d bought wouldn’t fit where I wanted to put it, had to rework some plans on the fly. Grocery run yielded two traffic near-misses for me (kid on bike not paying attention, then idiot lunged out into traffic without deigning to check for other cars) and one I observed from the next lane over (jaywalkers). My foot was aching by then, after we’d gotten through most of the day all right together. The grocery store is undergoing massive upheaval, so finding anything took some doing. Then, my creamsicle-clone was a bit disappointing.
