Company's coming in the MMP!!!!!!!

Whatever you do, don’t pee on a fahr ant hill like my brother did once. Once.

What’s a lot of fun is to douse the hill with gasoline and light a match. This is not recommended for anyone who runs slower than Usain Bolt for obvious reasons. Protip: If your proposed activity requires asking someone to hold your beer, it’s probably not a good idea.

Good thing since I lost track of days and replied elsewhere.

If it lets me. How does one copy and paste on this *^&%$^ thing!!!

PS – am sober but have rotten keyboard

Much the same as other groups wearing the usual yarmulke; black pants and white shirts mostly. A couple had what I call prayer curls and most beards but reasonably trimmed. Most of the women and kids were very conservative dress/overdressed (think 1950s) by American standard. I actually didn’t catch that the “beanies” were fake/false/painted on until I happened to be really close to one guy. His hair looked artificially white and the “cap section” slightly raised and dyed jet black. When he rejoined his party I could see all 6-7 men were basically the same although some of the hair was more naturally colored except for the black of the yarmulke.

If I see one of them again, I may just have to ask. Thought about trying to get a pic but that seemed really rude. And there was this vibe off them all like “Do not approach”. But ------------- me being me ------------- given a second chance all bets are off.

My Dad used to hang out at our house (it was only 25 miles for him) any time he needed peace and quiet; he had his own keys. Beloved Brother has been here once or twice; not that he objects to us or anything but he is undieingly loyal to mother who has refused from Day 1 (35 years or more ago) from ever setting foot under “her” (Her Ladyship) roof.

Aren’t families grand?

Or simply Elanor?

I wouldn’t trust Dogbutt to hold my beer under any circumstances.
Sum bitch would drink it.

What, warm dinner in their tiny microwaves and watch their tiny TVs?

I would make several more posts mostly cutting some plants back  but this computer sucks. Every 30 minutes it throws me off to reconfigure.

Nice convention and seen a lot of friends we don’t often see from all over the country but ---- Six Flags NJ had a rep for being unfriendly to enthusiasts and they have sure lived up to that. And they asked us for years to have our convention here - it’s not like we chased them. But they have3 treated us worse than the general public. Late, no comfort or consideration, bad communication, and an old security guard who was overly full of himself. We had to strip off our belts to come in this AM. I asked him nicely if this was standard since I hadn’t had to do it as a gp yesterday and his reply was “Are you kidding? The public would never stand for it. You folks we can do what we want”. What was that writers description of Eichmann? The simple banality of evil. Nice park but I’ll be glad to move on to a place that knows us and respects us

SARI don’t want to get bumped again without saying glad you’re back among the fold. Herself and I missed you!

:dubious:

Somehow I don’t think I like your brand of beer.:stuck_out_tongue:

Indeed, why would you drink Heineken Dark when Coors is available?

Coors? Do you hillbilly heathens not have Yuengling?:dubious:

Welcome back to the missing mumpers! It is strangely calm in the office now that the madness of exams and suchlike is over. The end of term has been and gone, and the students have largely packed up and left. Now we just have to tidy up the bits and pieces left over from end of session processing where students have had stuff changed and we need to make sure our records are in order.

So nice quiet day in the office and then a visit to the gym later for me. Still not thin.

I was going to lie down and snooze again after my sweetie left for work, but neither Higgs nor Taz could allow that. Naturally, they’re both asleep now, little buttheads!

Not sure what today’s plans are - I should probably clean the bathrooms, if only to vacuum up dog hair. Then there’s the dusting… yeah. dusting.

With both idiots sleeping now, I might risk lying down again. Decisions, decisions…

Happy Tuesday anyway.

Up, caffeinated, off to work.

Mooommm!, Gordie likes to sleep in. You wanna trade dogs?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeinated, brekkied, and purtified, so no YAWN. 'Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 97 with a heat index around a hunnert and ten this afternoon. Thus the NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE has yet again advised me to “stay in an air conditioning, if possible.” I won’t, however, as I do not believe it to be possible for me to get in an air conditioning.

I am still at da cave. I have a conference call at eight this mornin’ and I also have two appointments later this mornin’ in Albeeeny, both of which are between da cave and the orifice. I made the executive decision to do the conference call and then go to both places before goin’ to the orifice. Just makes sense to me.

Ok, that’s all I got. I suppose I should look at irk email and such for a bit. ICK!

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Thanks for the well wishes.

For those asking about the flying, it was my first time on any variety of aircraft. I flew back home for grandfather’s funeral than flew back to Florida for the rest of my vacation.

ruble, did it look like this? If so, then it was a fur yarmulke.

Flying scares the #$%@ out of me. So do thunderstorms. I might have to go out in a thunderstorm today. :frowning:

And the other night I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get to sleep because there was a thunderstorm outside making a bloody racket.

Poor baby.

I really need to start getting up earlier so I can get more done.
