I have never met the woman, and I have my doubts about the veracity of this name, but apparently my coworker’s mother used to have an insurance client with the name Bertha Thunderpussy. His mom insists that was the name and I have no idea why she would lie to us.

I bet Honor Blackman has already applied to be able to portray her in the next James Bond movie! Damn!

I know someone named “Immie”. Short for Irmgard, and yes, she’s German. She remembers starving in the suburbs of Berlin as a small girl in the late forties. :eek:

The German Irmgard I knew went by “Irmi” (pronounced like Ernie with an M).

I don’t remember Lavicka, but I remember the show with Theresa Renterrea and how Carol kept repeating the name. Cool.

I went to school with a girl whose last name was Tourtelotte. It looks like a pretty name, but it’s pronounced tort-lut. New teachers wanted to say torty-lotty. We’d chuckle.
