Yes, because it’s a funny show. Courtney Cox is the weak link, but at least we get to see her latest plastic surgery disaster.
Abed would be so happy. Now if only his show could get back on the air.

I really enjoyed the episode and I’m very happy it’s back.
Whoever picked out the outfits that CC is wearing in those promos should be shot. I’ve never seen a thinner woman look heavier or “hippy” in my life. Plus, she’s standing strangely, almost as if she is falling over in those heels she has on.
The promos were so heavily pushed on TBS that I decided not to watch the show. I got so sick of the promos that watching the show would have sent the wrong message to the execs at TBS.
I liked the “scenes from upcoming episodes” bit. Especially Jule’s car being broken. 
Someone’s not pounding nearly enough grape.
That was great, the opening scene (we’re back) was good, the middle, bulk of the episode, kinda meh.
Glad they’re still running with the title card gags.

When they do their little intro with the map of Florida, there’s always some jokey comment in white around the title CougarTown. This time it was something to the effect of “Thanks TBS, can we swear now?” Past episodes have had stuff like “Titles Are Hard”, “Still”, “100% Cougar Free”, and “She’s marrying a man her own age so why is it called”.
happened to catch this ep. It was a textbook definition of “trying too hard”. I made it through about half the episode. I thought it was embarassingly bad.
Eh, still not as good as the original British series, “Cougarton Abbey”.
Yeah, that’s what I meant. A quick googling turned up an archive if anyone is interested. Feel free to skip past the season 1 section, since they didn’t start until season 2.
Heh, I mentioned to my wife that it looked like CC and Christa Miller were trying to out-botox each other. They both look awful!
And yet, strangely enough, that’s completely in character.
There was an episode (end of the 2nd season?) where everyone went to Hawaii, and Christa apparently had a different makeup artist or something, and she looked better than she had in years.
I get the feeling that both Ellie and Jordan, Christa’s character on Scrubs, are meant to look like middle-aged plastic surgery victims.
(Seriously, though, I love Ellie. Black cave full’o’bats and all.)
