The first one is a movie my sister has been looking for. It’s a movie about a girl who has a ruby put in her belly and she didn’t think that it would stay there, but it did. She ends up in a cage in a swampy area. That’s all my sister can remember. She knows it’s not the Conan movies or Red Sonja.
The second movie is a martial arts film probably seen on Kung Fu theater. I’ve been wondering about this one ever since I was a little girl(we’re talking 20 years ago). All I remember is that the villan had some long, beautiful black hair and in that hair, he had poisonous beads. Everytime he whipped his head around(had some cheesy sound effects), the beads would strike someone and it could easily kill them. Needless to say, people dreaded him. In the end, the hero finally gets to him and they fight on a cliff. The hero finally pulls the beads out of the villan’s head and kills him. But, the hero is sure to die as well since he was poisoned.
Since you have two already, Jurhael, may I add another? Maybe we can turn this into a generic “ID the Movie” thread.
I saw this one on TV long ago. A female cop (who knows she’s good but thinks she’s unattractive) is assigned to guard a model (who knows she looks great but thinks she’s otherwise useless). The model had overheard her ‘businessman’ boyfriend ordering a hit and turned him in. Moments after they get to the safe house, a carload of thugs pulls up, so there must be a dirty cop involved. During the movie they both revise their opinions of themselves - the model ends up driving during a getaway because one of her boyfriends was a Formula One driver, and the cop needs a makeover to get into a nightclub where the evidence is stashed.
If I remember my TV movies correctly, this one is The Cover Girl and the Cop. I really can’t believe I remember that. I think I may have to hang my head in shame, but I’m not entirely sure.

Anyway, I figured out the movie for the first one. It was the Barbarians.
I still haven’t found anything out about the second one though.
Thanks, Draelin. I don’t remember it being quite as bad as IMDB’s reviewer says, but do realize it was pretty much a dud. Did that one finish the car chase with the thugs driving into the side of a tanker truck full of something very flammable?
