Fat guys rarely ask me out. So what am I supposed to do? Go to an overeaters anonymous meeting and start trolling for a date because it bugs you that men in the thin to slightly pudgy range are the ones that show interest in me?
The last guy I was involved with was damn near perfect in the body department, and quite good looking as well. Would you be “snickering” at us, or would you think “damn, that is one fine man. That is a lucky woman.” We met at a party, we got along, and he asked me out, and we started seeing each other. No fat men were rejected along the way. So what’s there to snicker at?

I think that rachelle is talking about heavy women who wouldn’t consider dating heavy men, not heavy women who end up with fit men for whatever reason.
But I AM a heavy woman who wouldn’t consider dating a morbidly obese man.

You haven’t directly expressed your motivations for not dating overweight men, but both statements above imply that you judge fat men as something to settle for, and overeaters.

Not at all. Overeaters Anonymous was just the only place that came to mind that would be likely to have a lot of fat men hanging around.
I have no motivations for not being attracted to very overweight men. I just personally don’t find them attractive.
