I know that people are eager to deride Courtney Love, but, given the right role, she can actually act.
She was fantastic as Joan Burroughs in Beat.
She looks about right for Linda Lovelace, and the role may give her the opportunity to stretch herself a bit.

Given the inherent danger of love scenes with Courtney Love, shouldn’t her partner’s performances be called “stunts?” With adverse-risk pay? Body doubles? If it’s too risky they may go CGI.
